Maggie Chace

Maggie studied voice and piano from the age of seven through the completion of college. Her beginnings were at the Queensborough Institute of Music under the tutelage of Ernst Wiemar, where she studied twelve years of piano, voice, ballet and tap dancing. Her skills were honed at the Julliard School of Music. She won a Kiwanis scholarship in voice at the age of eighteen, sang at the Mannheim Stadt Opera Theater in Germany and Light Opera of Manhattan. She and her husband have three children. She’s been employed as a singer and pianist and has been a voice and piano instructor and professional children’s choral director for over 20 years. Her passion is teaching music and sharing the joy of singing and piano with all children, pre-teens, teens and adults. Maggie is fulfilling her dream to enable young children and their parents to communicate and grow together through music.
